Oneida County will continue to follow the best information known at the time, including guidance from the state and national level. As more is learned about the virus and local impacts of the virus, guidance may change in order to protect the community.
Additionally, it is important to highlight that despite seemingly low infection rates, the risk for being sick and getting others sick with COVID-19 still exists and may increase with less stringent guidance in place and herd immunity not met. The Oneida County Health Department continues to encourage everyone to stay home as much as possible, only going out for essential needs, practice physical/social distancing, good hand hygiene, enhanced cleaning practices, and utilize cloth face coverings in public when physical/social distancing is difficult to do.
Please check back regularly for updates to guidelines and the addition of new documents.
